Cuve-Citerne pour liquides - IBC - neuf ou occasion
What is an IBC?
- IBC is the abbreviation for Intermediate Bulk Container, the term used to designate large tank containers used for the storage and transport of liquids.
- 1000-litre tanks are commonly used in industry because they offer a number of advantages over other types of container, including optimised use of space.
- In fact, they enable a larger volume to be stored on the same floor space than with drums, for example.
- IBCs generally consist of a parallelepiped tank enclosed in a lattice cage or tubular frame to protect it.
- They are also fitted with a fixed pallet to facilitate handling with a pallet truck or forklift.
