Barriers - spill containment systems
Orange and yellow containment barriers or socks provide permanent or semi-permanent containment in high traffic areas on concrete, asphalt and most sealed surfaces.
Create other configurations by combining other components to eliminate overlap and seal together for impervious containment.
- Constructed from 1.13kg vinyl coated fabric with a cellular foam core; the barrier compresses to approximately 6mm under vehicle traffic and then returns to its original shape
- Durable enough to withstand indoor and outdoor traffic from trucks, loaded motorised trailers and other heavy vehicles with sufficient ground clearance
- 90° sealed wall shoulder sits flush with the ground and a wall, pavement, etc…
- Create and secure bespoke professional containment areas without the need to fabricate or use excessive caulking
IN PRACTICE: Mark out a storage area on the floor of a room (take care not to use a wooden structure):
– Place orange (for the passage of machines – shape memory) or yellow (fixed) retention strips on the floor.
– You can drive over some of them (orange) (e.g. with a pallet truck).
– Then place mesh walls between these strips on the floor and ceiling.
– With a lockable door, of course, and appropriate signage on the outside.
– The products inside are stored on standard plastic pallets.
